Not dead yet/intervista

So um, yeah...it's been what, a year? I doubt many people are still coming here, but if you are, here's an interview done with me by an italian online newspaper. :) I know I always say this, but more stuff coming soon, especially since I have accumulated a little mountain of doodles over the past months.

new star wars trailer

Here's the theatrical trailer for the Clone Wars, the project I am working on. Unfortunately I got on the project a little too late to work on this, but it gives you a good idea of what the show will be like. Imagine everything you see here, but even better animated and better lit, and you might guess what the show has in store for you.
The animators I am working with at the studio are crazy talented and I have to bite my tongue not to describe you guys the crazy stuff we have been working on. But in the meanwhile..enjoy the trailer

New post!

Yes, it's true! I finally got off my lazy bum and decided to update the blog. Expect this to happen more regularly, since I am finally starting to get a hang of life here in Singapore. By "more regularly" I mean "sooner than the next Ice age", of course.
I know that probably I should re-start with a post about Singapore, but I won't (it's coming, though). I also know that I should write about Montreal, and ...but I won't. It's coming too, though.
I thought it would be cool to go back to the first purpose of this blog, which was to be a shrine to my crappy drawings and insane ego. So, here are a few doodles that I scribble while waiting for the playblasts to be done. These amazing pics were taken by Bonnie "transfer folder" Lin.
Let me know what you think

THE NEXT STEP

Big news! I can finally tell you guys that I will move to Singapore and work on the new Star Wars animated show. I'll leave Montreal in the upcoming weeks, stop by Italy for a few days, and then fly to Singapore to start working on March the fourth.
I could blah blah forever, but instead, here is the trailer...
Enjoy:

trailers-1 VALKyRIE

A bunch of famous actors trying to kill Hitler.
*SPOILER ALERT* they fail.
Directed by Bryan Singer and for once not featuring an obviously gay actor in the lead of one of his movies.

Movie review-2

American Gangster
Wow.

Ridley Scott changes direction style once again to deliver an amazing movie. Is it "the Unforgiven" of gangster movies, as some people alleged? No. But is it a great movie? Hell yes. The scene with the two leads in a room is all what Deniro and Pacino couldn't do in "Heat" because of the botox freezing their face muscles. The camera work seems to awknowledge the carisma of the two leads and services the performances, rather than razzle-dazzle the audience. The only thing a little worrying is the "where are they now" part, at the end of the film. Watch it and you'll understand what I mean. No spoiler at Mondoceccotto.
